ESCURSIONI IN QUAD
During the quad tour your guide will tell you the history of Etna and its secrets and we will take you to discover the icy waters of the Alcantara river by visiting a unique place in Sicily.
Below you can choose one of our quad excursions, between a tour on Etna, a tour in the Alcantara Valley or a combination of the two. All tours are led by an expert guide.
ETNA 2 HOURS
During this tour you will discover old lava flows, a lava flow cave and centuries-old Pineta Ragabo from which the refuge from which we will start takes its name.
ETNA 1/2 DAY
During this tour you will discover the lava flow of 1865, 1923 and 2002, of a lava flow cave up to 1800 meters.
ALCANTARA 1/2 DAY
The duration of the tour is approximately h. 3:30.
Always starting from Rifugio Ragabo (1400mt.) You will begin your descent until you cross historic towns such as Castiglione di Sicilia, where you can admire the traditional Byzantine church “Cuba”. You will descend until you reach the icy waters of the Alcantara river and admire its spectacular columnar basalt bottom dug by the millennial flow of the river waters.

The quads are automatic Polaris and they can carry a maximum of 2 people.
Children are admitted as passengers on the quad from the age of 6 years.
RECOMMENDED CLOTHING: Closed shoes, sunglasses and a jacket
