Catania & Cyclops Bay Tour

This is an amazing tour to discover Catania and the Cyclops coast, places full of history, culture, myths and legends.

We will drive along the southeastern coast of Sicily toward the city of Catania and visit the typical, picturesque fish and produce market.

Take a walk in the charming Baroque old town of Catania and marvel at the majestic Cathedral dedicated to Saint Agatha, facing the square with the fountain of the elephant (called by the locals “u Liotru”), the symbol of the town since as early as 1239.

Catania is a melting pot of antique and modern, the baroque it’s perfectly mixed with the newest modern building style. The center of the town is full of nice shops, bars and restaurant where you can enjoy the typical sicilian food and wine .

After visiting Catania we move out of the city to the seaside towns of Aci Castello and Aci Trezza, the most famous and sought after of eastern Sicily.

In the summer  these places are full of tourists and many people from the nearby city of Catania go there on holiday. The evenings are always alive and bustling, with numerous restaurants and bars, specializing in preparing delicious seafood dishes.

On the way back we will enjoy a stunning view of the Ionian coast of Sicily.
